Foreign Minister Clarifies Presence of 66 Haitian Stakeholders in High-Stakes Crisis Meeting

During a press briefing held at the Office of the Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Minister Senator Kamina Johnson-Smith provided clarification regarding the attendance at Monday’s high-stakes meeting concerning the Haitian crisis. Minister Johnson-Smith stated that a total of 66 Haitian stakeholders were present, shedding light on the significant engagement surrounding the ongoing situation in Haiti.

The Minister during her presentation, clarifies discussions around plans to accept children from a Haitian orphanage into Jamaica amid ongoing attacks on the orphanage.
