Fire Quickly Quelled at the Constant Spring Tax Office

Fire destroyed a section of the Constant Spring Road Tax Office in St Andrew Monday morning. The blaze which left a few items evidently ruined was reportedly caused by a refrigerator. 

Because of the incident, customers are advised to utilize the services rendered online and at other locations until further notice. 

No lives were lost and the cost of the damage is yet to be determined. Smoke quickly filled the St. Andrew Revenue Service centre on Constant Spring sometime after 8 Monday morning triggering the smoke alarm – soon after the tax office services paused and workers and patrons immediately evacuated the building.
