The Budget Debate ended Tuesday afternoon with the Finance Minister announcing that some 105 thousand public sector workers will receive retroactive pay by the end of the month.

During his address in the House of Representatives, he said the Government expects more public sector workers to accept the offer this fiscal year. The Minister congratulated several members of the public sector who have accepted the compensation package before the March 31 deadline. Dr Clarke says retro payments will be paid out by the end of March to the groups that signed off on the wage deal. Watch the report:
