In response to a fifth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, calls are being made to return to work from home, as a way to reduce infections. The call is being made by Professor Peter Figueroa, who says the country does not need to return to having curfews, but persons must be responsible and observe covid protocols.
Professor Figueroa says it is important to limit physical interaction and close contact at this time, to avoid even higher infection rates, noting that even events that are slated to happen over the next few weeks and months, must observe physical distancing and mask-wearing protocols.
