Family Members Seek Justice for Man Shot by Police

Family Disputes Police Account in Fatal Shooting of Taxi Driver – Family members of a taxi driver from the Corporate Area who was fatally shot by a police officer a few months ago are challenging the circumstances surrounding his death. According to the police report, 29-year-old Stephon Powell had allegedly broken into the residence of his former girlfriend and attacked her with a knife. Powell was subsequently shot and killed by the woman’s current partner, who happened to be a police officer. The officer stated that he acted in defense of his girlfriend.

However, the family of Stephon Powell disputes this official account of events and is seeking further investigation into the circumstances leading up to his tragic death. Watch the report:
