Expert Says Us Trials Prove Safety Of Vaccine

On Monday the long-awaited US trials of the Oxford-Astrazeneca vaccine confirmed both its safety and efficacy; they found the vaccine was 79% effective at stopping symptomatic COVID-19 disease and 100% effective at preventing people from falling seriously ill.

And there were no safety issues regarding blood clots- the reason several countries suspended the use of the vaccine. Dominican-born Research Microbiologist and Immunologist, Dr. Swinburne Augustine, is urging Jamaicans to consider their options with the Oxford Astrazeneca vaccine.
