Entertainers Still Entertaining Despite Sector Lockdown

Jamaican entertainer Anthony Moses Davis, better known by his stage name Beenie Man, has been detained in Ghana for performing at an event after testing positive for COVID-19. Meanwhile, another entertainer, Jashii was spotted performing at an illegal event in May Pen, Clarendon on New Year’s Eve.

Culture expert professor Donna Hope says the breaking of Disaster Risk Management Act (DRMA) protocols may be due to frustration among entertainers.
