Death in Rose Heights; Residents say Police Planted Evidence

Rose Heights: One man killed and another left nursing serious injuries after interacting with the police.

Now, residents of the Rose Heights community in Montego Bay, St. James are crying foul, alleging that members of the police force harassed community members and planted evidence.

According to a police report, members of the St.James Special Operations were patrolling the community when they saw a group of men who aroused suspicion.

They say one member of the group drew a gun, causing them to take “evasive action.”

Residents of the community spoke with CVM LIVE and disagreed with that version of events.
