Cornwall Regional Under Scrutiny for Its Alleged Poor Services

The Cornwall Regional Hospital is once again scrutinized for its alleged poor services towards patients. Recent reports are that some persons have been allegedly treated in an inhumane manner, however, the hospital’s Senior Medical Officer, Derick Harvey, has dismissed these claims stating the medical facility has made great efforts to accommodate the public, though lacking the proper resources.

The Cornwall Regional Hospital which has been under construction since 2016, has again come under scrutiny over the weekend following the ongoing inconvenience being faced by members of the public.

Senior Medical Officer, Derick Harvey notes though there were many complaints of patients allegedly being mistreated, he says the staff has worked assiduously to provide the best care. Mr. Harvey also highlights the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has brought in regards to treating patients who contracted the virus.
