The U.S Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has again added Jamaica to its list of COVID-19 high-risk countries. This comes in light of the 5th wave of infections. However Senior Strategist in the Tourism Ministry, Delano Seiveright tells CVM LIVE the impact on tourism may be minimal if any at all.
Jamaica’s COVID-19 travel risk had been lowered from level 3 to 2 in December. Seiveright notes that visitors are very much aware of the COVID-19 preventative measures, adding that he is pleased with the vaccination status of many. Watch the report below:
