Residents of Wall Street in the Callaloo Mews Community, St. Andrew say they have been without electricity since July 3, 2021. However, they add they have been having electricity issues from last year. The residents are complaining of the inconsistency with their power supply and that it is unreasonable for paying customers to suffer for those that are stealing power.
Another resident sought to provide our news team with a recent receipt of her last bill.
Media and Public Relations Manager and the Jamaica Public Service (JPS), Audrey Williams however says, a bypass was placed on the communities network and this triggered a shutdown.
