Brown’s Town Celebrates Biden-Harris Win

The world continues to celebrate the historic Biden-Harris win. Here in Jamaica, the community of Brown’s Town in St. Ann is bursting with pride after one of their very own, Kamala Harris has been named Vice-President-Elect. CVM LIVE‘s correspondent, Kirk Hall spoke with the family of Kamala Harris recently.

Perched on Orange Hill in Brown’s Town, St. Ann, this is the remodeled house where the father of US Vice-President-Elect, Kamala Harris Once lived. Donald Harris lived here with his grandmother; after leaving to study in the United States where Kamala Harris was born. Her cousins who still live in the community remember one of her two visits to Jamaica. 

Sherman Harris who operates a hardware store in the parish says her victory is a success for the entire country.
