Barbados PM Says Country Will Not Be Pawn To Divide CARICOM

Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley has called out the visit of  United States Secretary of State, Michael Pompeo, as a plot to divide the Caribbean community. Mottley warned that it is morally wrong to meet the US official without the other heads of government in the region. The Prime Minister, who is the chairman of CARICOM says she will not be a part of the pawn.

Pompeo  is scheduled to arrive in kingston on Tuesday for a two-day visit to the island. He is expected to meet with government officials and other leaders from the region.
