Another Black River Lock-up Escapee Back in Custody

An escapee from the Black River police station, who is charged for murder has been apprehended by the St Catherine North police.

Kenneth Stewart, who was among eight inmates who escaped the lock-up in June, was accosted in the Tryall Heights area in Spanish Town. Commanding Officer, SSP Howard Chambers adds Stewart’s “baby mother will be charged for harboring a fugitive.”

It’s understood six escapees are still at large.

The police are urging the public to contact the police when the location of a fugitive is known.
