A third telecoms provider is set to enter the local market. Rock Connect, a Jamaican company hopes to bridge the digital gap locally before the end of the year. Speaking to CVM LIVE’s Neika Lewis, Bruce Bowen Executive Chairman and Founder of Rock Connect says it’s crucial for the related public and private stakeholders to act swiftly to foster digital inclusivity.
Their vision is to among other things bridge the digital divide that has impacted many Jamaicans for decades. Digital inclusivity is one of their goals through a consistent, fast, and reliable connection in some of the most underserved areas.
