28-Year-Old Teacher Murdered At School Gate in St Elizabeth

The community of Treasure Beach St Elizabeth was plunged into mourning following the tragic end of one of their own.  Twenty-eight-year-old school teacher, Shannelle Smith was gunned down in the presence of toddlers at her school gate. 

Relatives are demanding justice but lack the confidence that is likely. Sandy Bank Infant Teacher, Channel Smith spoke with her father about the grim possibilities some face after losing their loved ones tragically. She didn’t expect to become a victim leaving her family and community in grief.
