2 Fatally Shot In Nannyville

Two men were fatally shot in Nannyville Gardens in an alleged shoot out with the police. The men have been identified as 27 year old Orane Lee and 26 year old Prince Davis, both of whom the police say were members of the Texas Gang. The fatal shooting of two men in Nannyville Gardens, Kingston 3 Friday night has left the community in turbulence, as relatives and friends of the deceased men say the incident underscores a level of police brutality they have been enduring for years.

According to police reports, at about 9:15pm police personnel received information that there were armed men in a vehicle along Nannyville Avenue. Upon the arrival of the security forces, the men reportedly opened fire, to which the police retaliated.

However, one of the men’s relatives is challenging the police’s report, as says prince was no gunman. She’s calling for an investigation to be launched into the matter immediately. The man’s mother says she’s convinced a stray bullet killed her son, as she too doesn’t believe her son was involved in criminality. Other residents tell CVM Live they were threatened and mistreated by the police after the incident.

Meanwhile, police reports dismiss the residents’ claims. They’re confirmed that both men were top tier members of the Texas Gang, naming lee as a known contract killer.
