Participating in the 24th Annual Caribbean American Business Dialogue, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Pearnel Charles Jnr, says this forum aligns with the ministry’s Grow Smart, Eat Smart national programme to improve food security through smart practices and policies. Adding, the goal is to create policies and strategies to promote linkages between sectors.
Minister Charles Jnr says he used the opportunity to secure advantageous partnerships by creating connections with relevant stakeholders and maintaining existing linkages.
He notes the ministry is continuously working to improve the agriculture and fisheries sector. The forum was organized to promote inclusive prosperity for the Caribbean region.
