Reggae Band Third World

August 16, 2019

In studio are two members of the infamous band “Third World”. Steven ‘Cat’ Coore and Richard Daley joined us in reliving their musical journey.

The band emerged in the 1970s from their aspiration to be an authentically Jamaican Reggae group fused with rhythm and soul.

Having lost a member of the group, Irvin ‘Carrot’ Jarrett, both recant the memories of their friend, having met him during his time in the National Dance Theater Company. Hear how the group has moved with the changing times within the industry.
