Joe Bogdanovich announced that legendary R&B artiste, Babyface, is booked to perform at Reggae Sumfest 2024. The announcement was made at Downsound Entertainment’s annual Christmas Celebration on Wednesday 13 December.
According to Bogdanovich, while the all-Jamaican lineups have pulled in mammoth crowds, “Fans have been asking for ‘international acts’ at Reggae Sumfest so we finally caved in. We decided to give them Babyface and there is another one in the pipeline for Friday.
The international artistes have also been eager to appear on the world-famous Reggae Sumfest stage which is as well known for its stellar lineups as for its world-class productions”. He added that the team was rigorous in its selection process and identified multi-Grammy winner, R&B singer, songwriter and record producer as the best choice to reintroduce the “international” acts.
