Jamaican mental health advocate Dannyelle-Jordan Bailey, who is only 19 years old, has recently graduated as the Valedictorian and Deputy Head Girl from St. Hugh’s High School for Girls. As the president of the National Secondary Students’ Council for the 2022-2023 term, she has been actively working to promote equality in education and mental health policies. In June 2023, she was honored with the Governor-General’s Achievement Award for demonstrating excellence in youth advocacy, leadership, and academia. She has joined us to discuss UNICEF’s Mental Health Summit scheduled for October 11th.
