Shaping Young Minds With Nutrition

Without proper nutrition, our children will lack healthy minds and bodies for the future workforce. The Jamaica Island Nutrition Network (JINN) is promoting a comprehensive approach to school nutrition as they believe it is critical to national development. This issue will be covered in their upcoming conference on Wednesday, March 15 under the theme, “Shaping Young Minds with Nutrition – Mental Health and Wellness”. They will introduce the sector connections to make the National School Nutrition Policy a reality. School Nutrition Specialist, Patricia Thompson tells us more about the initiative on Sunrise.
