The Wolmer’s Dance Troupe (the Troupe) and Dance Theatre Xaymaca will be hosting a joint Season of Dance at the Little Theatre from Friday, October 28, to Sunday, October 30, 2022.
The Wolmer’s Dance Troupe was established out of the Wolmer’s Preparatory School approximately thirty years ago. After years of entering several Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’s National Dance Competitions and winning sixty Gold Medals, fifteen Silver Medals and the Ivey Baxter Award for Excellence the Wolmer’s Dance Troupe is once again embarking on its annual Seasons of Dance this time in partnership with the Dance Theatre Xaymaca. The Troupe’s cohort includes ninety exceptional past and present students of the Wolmer’s Preparatory School.
The Dance Theatre Xaymaca was established in 1995 under the leadership of Ms. Barbara McDaniel.
