Remembering The Legendary Toots Hibbert

As a nation we all mourn the passing of our own legend, Frederick Nathaniel, “Toots Hibbert” and this morning, his eldest daughter, Jenieve Hibbert Bailey paid tribute to him and thanked the nation for its support during this very difficult time.

The Maytals released a statement on Saturday, which stated that the legend passed away peacefully, while surrounded by his family at the University Hospital of the West Indies on Friday night. He was 77 years old.

The cause of his death is not clearly known, however the family is asking for respect of privacy during this time.
