Optimist Day is celebrated throughout the world annually on the first Thursday of February by members of Optimist International. This is an opportunity for clubs and members to celebrate all they do year round to promote efforts in bringing out the best in youth, our communities, and ourselves.
The Caribbean District has 10 zones. Today, we are spotlighting the efforts and activities of zone 1. Zone 1 has 11 clubs in Jamaica and 1 in Grand Cayman. This month we have an exciting list of activities, projects, and training sessions for our Caribbean district and friends. This is an opportunity for clubs and members to celebrate all they do year round to promote efforts in bringing out the best in youth, our communities, and ourselves.
