Today marks the start of “Dominican in Jamaica Week,” which aims to strengthen Jamaica and the Dominican Republic’s relationship ties, as well as their political, economic, commercial, social, academic, and cooperative bond. This celebration is also the first of its kind between the Dominican Republic and any other Caribbean nation. Dominican Republic’s Ambassador to Jamaica, Ambassador Angie Martínez joined us on Sunrise to highlight some of what is in store for the week of celebration.
