The incumbent leader of the People’s National Party (PNP), Dr. Peter Phillips says the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) has failed miserably in delivering benefits and opportunities to the Jamaican people.
“Their own numbers show that instead of prosperity growing, what has been growing is poverty,” he said.
Dr. Phillips was speaking recently at a general meeting in Port Antonio, Portland.
Meanwhile the PNP caretaker for East Portland, Damion Crawford and other supporters of Dr. Phillips came out swinging with criticism against Peter Bunting and his Rise United camp.
Crawford says Jamaicans are suffering daily and says a reported increase in poverty is as a result of bad policies and incompetent managers.
