On this panel discussion we get to the root of the issues affecting agriculture in Jamaica, including the rising cost of locally produced chicken meat and the potential cessation on taxes for the import of cheaper alternatives. Could the move potentially jeopardize Jamaica’s food security? Or does Jamaica deserve food items at a more competitive price regardless of the implications?

Joining us are president of the Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS) Mr. Lenworth Fulton and Norman Grant, Chairman of the Jamaica Coffee Exporters Association, Managing Director of Mavis Bank Coffee Factory Limited and immediate Past President of the (JAS).
