Wanted Fugitive Nabbed During Joint Police Operation

Tevin Passley was wanted in connection to the murder of Corporal Delvin Jackson and was apprehended following a Joint Operation with St Catherine. The Operation was carried out by the St Catherine Special Operations and the Lucea Operation Support Team at the Lucea market in Hanover.

Corporal Delwin Jackson of Bog Walk, who was stationed in Glengoffe, St Catherine, was shot and killed by unknown assailants in Central Village on August 18, 2021. Residents reportedly heard loud explosions and summoned the police. Corporal Jackson was later found lying on the road with multiple gunshot wounds.  He was pronounced dead at the hospital. The body of a taxi operator who was identified as ‘Chandler’ was also found in close proximity to the police corporal.

 It is alleged Corporal Jackson went to the area to conduct personal business.
