While speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony for the housing development of Sandown Palms in St Catherine. Prime Minister Andrew Holness, says this development, which is projected to cost 1.7 billion dollars is the third residential community that the Housing Agency of Jamaica has undertaken this year, in the parish.

He says the government has learned from the errors which would have held projects down for up to a decade. Adding that the same mistakes will not be made, as the government aims to provide more housing solutions. Prime Minister Holness says the project is targeted at first-time homeowners.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister presented keys to sixty (60) new homeowners at Catherine Estate in Spanish Town, St Catherine, on Friday. He says as more Jamaicans are prioritizing homeownership, he’s proud to be delivering these homes to them. More details here:
