Lessons from Trinidad & Tobago’s recent election – As heads of government in the region feverishly establish protocols to control the spread of the virus, citizens are growing weary. The government of Trinidad and Tobago has offered measures to other countries in the Caribbean following a spike in COVID-19 cases following their own General Election on August 10. And as Jamaica heads to the polls in a couple of days, the are fears that the virus could spread within that time frame.
