A meeting to discuss the issues surrounding the sale of beach lands the Mammee Bay Community Beaches in St. Ann ended abruptly today after the representatives, said to be from the community, were accused of hijacking the meeting.
The meeting which took place at the St. Ann Municipal Council was expected to reach an agreement between the developers and members of the community to provide temporary access to the beach however the Municipal Corporation says some of the members were politically motivated.
