Missing 8 Yr Old Galen Buchanan Found Dead

Investigations are now underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of eight year old Galen Buchanan also known as Nicholas of Spanish Town Road, Kingston 11.

Galen was reportedly missing from home on Tuesday January 21, but was found floating in the Harbor at Royal Palm, Bournemouth Gardens in Kingston 2, with his hands bound.

A loving and caring child, that is how little Galen Buchanan will be remembered.

The missing alert was activated when Galen’s Stepfather, reportedly took him out for ice-cream but never returned.

The Police have now listed the Stepfather who goes by the names Phillip Williams or Phillip Rose , is now a person of interest in relation to the death of the child.

The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.

His mother says he will be remembered as a loving kind hearted soul.

Galen’s Grandfather, Henry describes him as an obedient child.

The Child Protection and Family Service Agency were present, offering support.

The impact is devastating.

Tamara shares with CVM LIVE that an argument between her and the Stepfather, may have been the reason behind her son’s disappearance.

Tamara notes that the relationship was not an abusive one.

Since the tragic news, the child’s stepfather has been calling both the mother and the grandfather of Galen.

The grandfather is appealing for him to turn himself in to the police for questioning.

Since the start of the year there has been an increase in the number of deadly domestic violence cases.
