According to the Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus the world is much closer to the end of the Covid-19 pandemic. The WHO boss also stated that after the height of the omicron variant in January, there was a significant decline in the death toll. However, he adds there are still many uncertainties given the complexities of the variants.
