The St. Ann’s Bay police are probing the fatal shooting of a man and a woman and the injuring of three others at an illegal party in Discovery Bay, St Ann on Monday. Minutes after 12am Monday, a party was in session at a sports bar in the Old Folly community of Discovery Bay, St. Ann. Reports from the St. Ann’s Bay Police are that unknown assailants started shooting at a group at the party.

When the shooting subsided, five people were seen suffering from gunshot wounds.

They were transported to the hospital, where 23-year-old Tamara Kelly and 21-year-old Rojae Linton were pronounced dead. The other three injured persons are being treated.

Tamara Kelly is a mother of two girls and would have celebrated her 24th birthday in January. Kelly’s sister-in-law described her as a very jovial person.

When CVM LIVE visited the area residents expressed shock at the gruesome act in the peaceful community.
