A triple murder in Stony Hill St. Andrew shortly after noon on August 4, has left residents in shock as police blame an ongoing gang feud for the latest killings. Three bodies, lifeless strewn across a yard in Stony Hill St. Andrew as rival factions of the Brooks Level and the Airy Castle gangs advanced their deadly interests.
Police say they were summoned to the crime scene shortly after noon Wednesday, August 4.
Senior Superintendent Fletcher says the killing appears to be connected to the Emancipation Day execution of another St. Andrew man in a bar in Stony Hill Square. The officer says they are aware of the gang feud and have heightened presence in the area. However, he says the terrain has proven a grave challenge in accessing certain spaces where gangs have been operating in recent times.
He is urging the residents to say what they know as they pursue persons they believe can help solve and pay for these crimes, as a counter reprisal attack is being anticipated.
Meanwhile, a relative of one of the deceased, Kelsen Blake said to be 23 years old spoke off-camera.
The deceased are said to be 23, 19, and 17 years of age.
