The Island Traffic Authority (ITA) has announced that three of its Service Hubs will serve as polling stations on Local Government Election Day, February 26. These are the Swallowfield Service Hub in St. Andrew, Spanish Town Service Hub in St. Catherine, and the Montego Bay Service Hub in St. James. As such, regular operations at these sites will be temporarily suspended on that day.
Also in the release, it reminds the public to ‘exercise caution when traversing the roadway on Election Day’.

The Island Traffic Authority (ITA) is advising the public that three of its Service Hubs will be used as polling stations on Local Government Election Day, February 26.
These are the Swallowfield Service Hub in St. Andrew, Spanish Town Service Hub in St. Catherine and the Montego Bay Service Hub in St. James. Regular operations at these locations will therefore be suspended on that day.
All other Service Hubs and the ITA Head Office at 145 MaxfieldAvenue will close at 1:00 pm on Election Day, to facilitate members of staff exercising their right to vote.
The ITA apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, February 27 at 8:30 am.
