The protest of public transport operators in St Ann has impacted attendance at several schools in the parish. This comes after operators withdrew their services on Monday morning which left commuters with no option. No classes were held at York Castle High School in Brown’s Town St Ann on Monday which follows online classes on Wednesday.

Operators continue to vent frustration over, what they describe as the excessive fines attracted to the new Road Traffic Act. When CVM LIVE visited St Hilda’s Diocesan High School in the parish on Wednesday Principal Heather Reid Johnson says the continuous strike has impacted the rate of attendance at the institution.
