A new online tool promising citizen empowerment is now on the table.
Primed for tracking government elects, the Jamaica Accountability Meter Portal (JAMP) aims to harness the power of citizen engagement, monitoring, and oversight to improve accountability.

The question is, will the average Jamaican be able to use JAMP, and how will it help?

The Founder and Executive Director of JAMP, Jeanette Calder says the website will allow all citizens of Jamaica to track the progress of government ministries, departments and agencies in response to the findings and recommendations of the Auditor General’s Department and Parliamentary oversight committees.
