After an extensive search of the marl pit near the junction in St. Elizabeth, the body of Peter Morgan, an excavator operator in the parish, was found. He was buried under boulders, and his remains were recovered after almost 30 hours. 

Despite residents and loved ones being hopeful in the early stages of the rescue mission, the findings have ended in tragedy. The rescue team labored until after 8 pm on Sunday to recover what was left of the body of Peter Morgan. While the rescuers, seemingly unphased by his butchered state, worked tirelessly to recover whatever pieces of him they could.

 An excavator operator who was part of the rescue crew, says he immediately jumped to action when he heard of the incident. However, he notes the operation was not without obstacles, as the eager volunteers tried to make haste of Morgan’s recovery. Watch the report:
