The residents of West Rural St. Andrew feel as if they are devoid of life, believing that if water represents life, then they are living in a state of lifelessness. This sentiment arises after enduring months of hardship while trying to survive without this precious resource. Venting their exasperation, the residents are now demanding immediate access to water before the situation deteriorates further. They express their distress, noting that the conditions are progressively worsening.

Despite the absence of running water, the residents report that they continue to receive monthly bills from the National Water Commission, NWC, a fact they find both frustrating and perplexing. The residents firmly believe that if this issue persists, it will have a significant impact on students as well as farmers, as their ability to carry out their respective activities will be severely compromised.
