Search for Missing St. Ann Teacher Continues

Since 34-year-old Marcus Garvey Technical High, St.Ann teacher Ruchell Williams went missing, the search for her has not stopped. Following hopeful leads; her fellow colleges, along with St. Ann police hit the road once again hoping to find Ruchell.

The troop’s efforts to find the missing St.Ann teacher were documented by CVM Live; their starting point was at the Golden Grove All-Age School in St Ann. Concerned colleagues, police, and Jamaica Teacher’s Association, (JTA) executives banded together on the morning of Wednesday, October 6, to search for the missing teacher.

Superintendent of police for St. Ann, Dwight Powell, and JTA members, remain hopeful Ruchelle will be found. While canvassing Golden Grove the team got a lead from a resident who was sure he spotted her last week in Lydford. Nothing was forthcoming in Lydford, but then another lead.

It was said that Ruchell was spotted on Wednesday morning in Moneague. The party rushed to the area where a taxi man gave yet another lead to say she was spotted in Ewarton. The roller coaster ride at the end of the day yielded no success. They however remain steadfast in their search to locate the missing teacher and encourage any member of the public with information, to come forward.
