The search continues for missing Clarendon teacher. It has been more than a week since the teacher, Natalie Dawkins was reported missing. The police have been following strong leads with several persons in custody.

The teacher’s car was recovered on Saturday, after a confrontation with the police. One man died during the confrontation and another is said to be on the run in connection to the find in Brown’s Hall, St. Catherine.

Over the weekend a police military operation was conducted in the St. Catherine community in search of Dawkins.

CVM Live was reliably informed that the Clarendon police are actively searching the Sandy Bay community in the parish.

It is believed that the slain suspect is linked to that community.

Meanwhile, President of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA), Jasford Gabriel says the JTA remains committed to assist in her safe return.

He is urging the church to step forward and lead in the fight against crime.
