School Family Mourns Slain 8 Year Old

School Family mourns slain eight-year-old, Danielle Rowe, and the Ministry of Education, MOE, to Up Security Measure. Danielle Rowe was abducted and her throat slashed last week; Members of the Constabulary today (Monday, June 12) visited her school in St Catherine where everyone was mourning the loss of a promising student. MOE To Up Security Measures in Schools

At the school, providing a sacred space for shared sorrow, Minister Fayval Williams says while the nation is undoubtedly outraged, it is imperative for the course of justice to precede. Adding it is now on her Ministry’s mandate to improve security measures in all schools, she has vowed to outfit the Braeton Primary and Infant School with surveillance systems.  Watch the report:
