Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey is adamant that the country’s crime rate can be reduced if citizens are more respectful towards each other. Speaking at the graduation ceremony at the Prospect College in St. Ann, he says the crime rate in the country is a sign of citizens’ lack of respect for the value of life.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey, is calling for more engagement with youths, as crime and violence continue to plague the nation.
Deputy Commissioner Bailey lauded the Graduands for their efforts, in avoiding criminal activities. Bailey who attended the institution emphasized the importance of treating people with respect while using the massacre of five in Clarendon as an example of what happens when there is no respect for life.
Principal of Prospect College, Gregory Wint, says the benefactors have contributed to the holistic development of the graduates, and this will positively impact their future. Watch the report:
