In an extraordinary turn of events, the long-standing garbage crisis near the St. Peter Claver Primary School on Waltham Park Road has finally been cleared, leaving residents and local authorities relieved. Member of Parliament for St Andrew South Western, Dr. Angella Brown Burke, is being lauded by residents for eradicating the issue they likened to the Riverton Dump.
Residents add, they not only had to tolerate the stench assaulting their nostrils, but also the rodents and pests which made the space their home. They implore the National Solid Waste Management Authority, NSWMA, to collect their garbage daily to avoid the pile’s return. WEatch the report:
