With the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine now accessible to children ages 12 through to 17 years; religious leader, Reverend Al Miller is calling for transparency from the Government regarding information about the vaccines. Reverend Miller is also echoing calls for more vaccine and treatment options.

Recently the United Kingdom approved children 12 through to 17 years to receive the Pfizer BoiNTech Vaccine. Jamaica was also in line and started inoculation of its youth over the August 21, lockdown weekend.

However, Reverend Al Miller says while he is in support of a total eradication of the virus, the reverend points out that children should not be an experiment for the vaccines. He notes there has not been sufficient information for individuals to make informed decisions.

While some parents opt for their children to take the jab, the religious leader says individuals have the freedom to do so. However, he notes there must be alternatives regarding the vaccines and not just being forced to one option. Reverend Miller also highlights vaccines in the past that were developed by other countries are still not being considered. He says this is a major cause for concern.
