Reaction to the 2021 Primary Exit Profile Exam Results

Despite the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Education Minister Fayval Williams, says the 2021 Primary Exit Profile Exam (PEP) results were normal, as the students performed at the accepted proficiency levels.

Meanwhile, mixed reactions have greeted the PEP performance for this year, where there has been a decline from last year’s results, an almost 8 percent dip from 60 to 52.2 percent.

Stacey-ann a tutor, says she has been pleased so far with one of her students’ performance. However, Kadian Mclean a parent says though her son’s results were satisfactory they could have been better. She however notes the institution should determine a child’s performance.

Education Minister Fayval Williams while addressing the Primary Exit Profile Exam results in a media conference, sought to give a breakdown of the performance levels. More in this CVM Live:
