Economic sustainability; human capital development, crime and governance, and corruption are some of the key strategic areas that the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ) will continue to tackle. That’s according to the President, Keith Duncan who was returned to the post on December 3.

He says the tasks cannot be left  up to the government alone.

He adds that up skilling the workforce is also critical, given  the COVID-19 pandemic has changed how business is done.

As for increasing tourism linkages and community engagement to unlock investment opportunities in each parish and the promotion of agro tourism, two additional Vice Presidents , Jason Henzell and John Byles will be focusing on these areas.

Keith Duncan adds that by increasing linkages and  consuming more local products, this will also increase FX earnings and profit retention.
