The fifth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic has brought with it concerns about transmission in various institutions. Concerning prisons, Minister of State in the Ministry of National Security Zavia Mayne says case numbers remain low. Mayne was touring the Lockett Avenue Probation and Rehabilitation facility where he took time to show appreciation for staff members. Speaking about the issues concerning the need for more probation aftercare officers, Mayne says an expansion is needed to ease the workload; reporting that 100 officers deal with up to 3,000 cases. Watch the full report for details:
